Just have one second to let you know I will look up the addresses for the shops I get my candles from. One is a Jewish shop in Vancouver where the candles are made to burn on a special day for remembrance of the dead. They burn for a little over one day.

I get the 3 day and 7 day candles from a shop in Victoria called Avalon. I get a bunch whenever I go or can beg someone else who is going to get me some. The 7 day candles are $4.99 at Avalon. Plus tax, of course. Sigh.

Will get the address and phone number for the Jewish shop in Vancouver. I will mail it to you - e-mail it, I mean.

ok now this one has me intrigued. where do find things like cedar and sandalwood? Date: Tue, 10 Nov 1998 10:56:39 -0800

Annie, you can get cedar sawdust from some lumber suppliers or sawmills. It's also available from places like Frontier Herbs and some pagan suppliers like Papa Jim's Botanica in San Antonio. Or, if you live in an area where there are cedars, you can dry and use the leaves/branches. (smile) Also, sandalwood is available from the same sources and many more - as long as they are natural or "new age" suppliers.
