Cactus Garden

All cacti are magickal. They are considered protective plants whether grown indoors or outdoors. If you are lucky enough to live where you can grow them outside, plant one at each corner of the house and again at each corner of your property for maximum protection. Just a little hint that is not really magickal, but yet very protective - plant as large a cactus as you can with the sharpest spines under each and every window in your home. Can you imagine a burglar crawling over something like that to get into your home? Or, if you cannot plant them outside, put at least one in each window inside the home. It will be a great shock if someone should actually try to get inside
.

Cacti can take more abuse and neglect than most plants, yet they provide profuse blooms and the pleasure of their unique appearance. They are hardy, resilient and take up very little space. Often they will grow where no other plant will. They are truly the perfect windowsill plant. There is an excellent link on our Links Page under Specialty Gardens for those who have had little or no experience growing cacti.
